Dr. Elizabeth Sandfoss, DVM
Dr. Sandfoss has over 16 years of veterinary experience. A highly practiced surgeon, she has been involved in offering low cost spay and neuter services as well as general surgery to local rescues and to the community at large. Her passion for life makes her a worthy animal advocate and her compassionate heart pushes her to go above and beyond for each of her patients.
Dr. Gary Clemons, DVM
Dr. Clemons is a highly experienced DVM with over 47 years of experience. He spent most of his working years owning Milford Animal Hospital when he decided it was time to retire. After retiring, he knew it just wasn’t enough and decided to come back to work part time. His knowledge and compassion brings an essential part to our team.
Nathali Royal, RVT (Office Manager)
Nathali is our practice manager who knows the ins and outs of our day by day. She is always willing to address any of your questions. Also a highly skilled and experienced technician, Nathali has a natural way of calming patients and pet owners alike. She is a very talented anesthetist and excels in patient dentistry. Nathali owns two cats: Meeko and Marilyn. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.
Hope Simms, RVT
With over nine years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician, Hope brings a high level of compassion and skill to the table. Her tender heart and contagious laugh put patients and people at ease. She is passionate about making quality veterinary medicine and excellent patient care available to everyone.
Amanda Chapman, Veterinary Assistant
All heart, Amanda is an amazing advocate for pet healthcare. The tender, loving care she offers to patients is second to none. She is an amazing teacher and uses her skills to educate clients on everything from rescuing orphaned kittens to quality care for elderly furry family members.
Cassidy Anter, Veterinary Technician
With a heart of passion and a friendly smile, you will find Cassidy giving the best love and care to your fur babies. She spends most of her time at work assisting our Doctor in appointments and surgery. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College to pursue her career as a Veterinary Technician. When not at work, you will find Cassidy riding horses and spending time with her two dogs and cats.
Samantha Mahanes, Veterinary Technician
Meet Sam, she is one of our Technicians who is always hard working and willing to do anything to help out. Sam is enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at UC to further her education and to obtain her credentials. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and two dogs.
Racheal Rust, Receptionist
Racheal is one of our Receptionist’s with a lifelong passion for animal care. With a friendly and compassionate demeanor, she enjoys greeting both pets and their humans, making sure every visitor feels welcome and at ease. Outside the office, Racheal is usually running her two kids to sports, taking care of her fur babies or traveling.
Makena Swearingen, Receptionist
Makena is the voice on the other end of the line for many clients. She has a talent for multitasking and an unwavering positive attitude, handling high call volumes and scheduling needs with grace and efficiency. Makena’s compassion for animals is clear to all who meet her. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Edgar, Office Cat (Mischievous)
Edgar is our class clown. He is always into something and trying to show off his giant personality. Even with his unbelievable medical history, Edgar is always living his best life and will put a smile on your face as soon as you walk through the door.
Bitsy, Office Cat (Queen)

Bitsy is all that! Sugar and Spice. Our resident office queen, she will snuggle up on your lap, ignore you completely or give your dog a dirty look - It just depends on the day!
You will find Bitsy living her best life in kitty heaven as she recently passed.

Maggie is our playful office cat. She loves to say hello to other pets and will often be found lounging on the front desk.
